To support individual faculty research projects, the Center awards up to $5,000 to a Faculty Affiliate, with a cap of three awards per year. Any Faculty Affiliate who has served on the CSWGS Steering Committee during the last four academic years is eligible to apply.
Applications should be emailed to cswgs@rice.edu in early April and should include:
A one-page description of research project to be funded;
A detailed budget, including other funding sources already secured or under consideration;
A paragraph describing recent contributions to the Center (for example: taught a core or cross-listed course, participated in CSWGS initiatives like the Feminist Research Group and the Feminist Theory Group, been a respondent for the Graduate Symposium, advised a SWGS honors thesis, etc.).
