Dinesh Singhal is a seasoned trial attorney licensed in Texas, California, New York, and Delhi, India. With over 27 years of experience in commercial litigation, he is a board-certified civil trial law specialist recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has been featured on the Texas Super Lawyers list for business litigation from 2017 to 2024.
Beyond his legal practice, Dinesh has held numerous leadership roles. He has served as the president of the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists, former president of the Harris County Democratic Lawyers Association, trustee of the Houston Lawyer Referral Service, and co-chair of the Fee Dispute Program of the Houston Bar Association.
Dinesh is also deeply committed to community service. He has served on the boards of the Rothko Chapel and the Houston chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. He co-chaired the Advisory Board of the University of Houston’s India Studies Program and is an Advisory Board member of the Gandhi Museum. Additionally, he has participated in fundraising efforts for St. John’s School and the Houston organization Voices Breaking Boundaries.
Dinesh's dedication to public interest work began in law school, where he served on the University of Houston Law Center’s Honor Court and received a Dean’s Public Interest Fellowship to work for the American Civil Liberties Union. He holds a JD from the University of Houston Law Center and degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Delhi.
