Kevin Yu was awarded the 2026 Seth Balkishan das Singhal Award for the paper “Uterotopic Fantasies and Far-Right Gender Imaginaries among Chinese Working-Class Male Migrants in Africa.”

Kevin is a student in the Anthropology doctoral program Rice.  He has received legal training in different jurisdictions and multiple degrees with honors and top distinctions from Stanford University, the Australian National University, and Zhejiang University.
