Faculty affiliates are those faculty from across the university who have research and/or teaching interests in SWGS. They have the opportunity to cross-list courses with SWGS, and they are encouraged to do so, when possible, within a three-year period. They also have the opportunity to serve as departmental advisors for students who come to them with a suitable thesis project. Faculty Affiliates are featured on the CSWGS website, are invited to participate in all the Center’s activities, and are eligible to present their research, in conversation with an external respondent of their choice, at a Feminist Research Group seminar. Finally, they are eligible to serve on the Steering Committee and to apply to serve as Core Faculty.
